25 Simple Ways to Communicate Love to Your Husband
Love is communicated in many ways.
A kind act, a gentle touch, a thoughtful gift, quality time together or perhaps even affirming words.
But regardless of the love language, often times it’s the little things that show love to your husband.
Several weeks ago, my husband and I went to Whole Foods together to grab a few things.
As we stood in the checkout line, I began to scratch his back.
Knowing that his love language is physical touch, I’ve been intentionally looking for opportunities to show him love in this way.
It did not go unnoticed.
By him or those around us.
A gentleman who worked at the store looked at us and said, “Man! I wish my wife would scratch my back in public like that. I just love when she touches me.”
His words were echoing through my mind hours later.
My husband has told me numerous times that he desires physical touch.
Yet until that moment, I never realized how much it meant to him.
This simple act of scratching his back, spoke volumes to him.
He was beaming.

My actions communicated love and adoration for him.
Seeing him happy, filled me with joy.
I want to make him happy. I love seeing a smile on his face. And it took little effort to make that happen.
Dawn’s post this past week, reminded me of how easy it is to communicate love to my husband. It only takes a little thought and effort.

such a lovely reminder and the bonus that others noticed. God’s light in and through us is what counts and we don’t need to do it to get noticed, but He lets it happen anyway, for His sake and another’s. let’s pray that man’s wife hears what he’s saying and follows suit! and i will do the same. (: printed out dawn’s list last week to add to a wedding card . blessings on your both. s.
