  1. I think learning each others love language and truly having a desire to learn more about it can make a huge difference in communicating with each other! Love that you mention it!

  2. Great tips! We have read the 5 love languages and it helped a lot. I have done different personality types in work environment and it was very helpful, I have no idea why I haven’t considered it to help in the communication with my husband, will be doing that soon! Many Thanks 8)

  3. Such a great post that explains how we are wired different from our spouse. I think I am an CI but my health has made the social part a little challenging but my mindset is always that I would like to be social and when I am able to then I am. My guess is that my husband is an SC. Gives me another thing to think about. We have the love nudge app with the five love languages and that has been interesting to try. It is so important to always be working on guarding our marriages and having us and our marriage centered in the Lord. Great post!

  4. I’m so glad I came across this article. I’m going to attempt to implement it for both of us. I pray it helps. My husband and I have been married nearly 14 years. Second marriage, all children are grown so it’s just us. And we have NEVER been able to communicate about the things of life that really matter. He is truly emotionally unavailable, lacks empathy and I am really struggling to even like him anymore. I have absolutely no desire for physical intimacy and we have seriously only been intimate 2x in the last 10 months. And I don’t care. I don’t want to give up. Prayers please.
