For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Isaiah 9:6 NIV

It’s almost here! The most joyous and yet, potentially the most stressful time of the year.

Each year I have every intention to keep Christ in Christmas, yet as a plethora of tasks scream for my attention, many times I find myself being pulled away from the true meaning of Christmas and dragged into the hustle and bustle of the season.

Jesus in Christmas

How do you plan to keep Jesus in Christmas this year? Here are a few ways to invite Him into your heart and home and keep Him the centerpiece of the holiday

A few years ago I realized that keeping Jesus in Christmas is not something that just happens.

If I really wanted to express my faith in this way….I must be intentional.

I wrote a series for my FB page called “The Reason for the Season… 25 Days of Preparation for Christmas.”

I have re-read this each Christmas to keep myself focused on why and Who I am celebrating.

  1. I loved Betsy’s piece as well, and truly, the only way to keep from being overwhelmed by the hoopla is to practice an intentional celebration of Jesus.
    Blessings to you!

  2. Thanks so much for featuring my post, Alisa. I so appreciate the encouragement today! (Girl, you have no idea! 🙂 ) Your 25 days looks good. I’m going to sign up for it. I’ve been looking for something new to read this season.

    1. I love your idea of posting on the I AM statements. I’ll be tuning in for sure! ❤️
