Welcome, I’m so glad you’re joining us!
At the beginning of this year, God placed the word overcome in my heart. I knew it would be a significant word for me, but I didn’t quite know how. By February I began to understand. Each month after seemed to present an opportunity for me to step out of my comfort zone and push through insecurities, relational issues and/ or hurts in order to walk in the fullness that God desires for me.
And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death. Revelation 12:11 KJV (emphasis mine)
We all face obstacles that can cause us to shrink back, rather than push forward. In the midst of our pain, we can have confidence that the battle is already won. Jesus died on the cross, defeated death and rose again; giving us the power to overcome sin and schemes from the enemy. So how do we overcome? The Bible provides us with 3 key ways:
The Blood of the Lamb
The Word of Our Testimony
Denying our Flesh
Each week on the blog, we will be focusing on the Word of Our Testimony. There will be 3 testimonies each week from ladies who have overcome some of life’s toughest battles. As we hear these testimonies, we will gain hope for overcoming in life. Together we will learn to overcome any obstacles that could hinder us from God’s best for our lives.
