Welcome back to our blogiversary celebration. A party wouldn’t be fun without friends, right? So…..
Today I want to introduce you to a few of my friends. What’s interesting about these friends, is that I’ve never actually met them in person. In fact, we don’t even live in the same states. Yet as I look back over the past 6 months, I see how God has crossed our paths and used these dynamic women to help me along in my journey of blogging and life.
Having friends who have gone where we want to go makes life easier and more fun! We all need someone to come along side us in our endeavors and I’m glad I have these lovelies on hand for assistance. We are better together, aren’t we?
Two are better off than one, for they can help each other succeed. If one person falls, the other can reach out and help. But someone who falls alone is in real trouble. Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 NLT
Introducing…. A Few Friends
Lori is probably one of the sweetest people on the planet. Really. The first time I ever visited her website, I felt welcomed. That’s what I love about Lori…She has a gift for providing community. One of the goals I have for this year is to provide a community where women from all over can come together, pray and encourage each other. Lori is great at this! Not only does she have a gift of gathering, but she’s also an encourager. Her message of hope leaves me refreshed every time I stop by her blog. If you are looking for inspiring content and a place to feel at home, you can visit Lori at Searching for Moments. If you are a blogger she also has a linkup on Mondays called Moments of Hope.
Alison is a fellow introvert, but loves people. One of the things I admire about Alison is her ability to really listen to people. I’ve had the pleasure of working with Alison on a few projects and I quickly learned that she is attentive, hard working and amazing at graphics! One of my biggest challenges with blogging has been developing graphics for blog posts. I am graphically challenged, or at least I was until Alison came along. Not only is she great at graphics, but she is a rockstar at helping with logos and website layouts. She and her husband, Nick, own The Design Duo. If you are in need of any blog services….Alison is your girl.
Arabah Joy is an online mentor, who has definitely earned that title! This woman is a wealth of knowledge and shares it freely! Much of what I’ve learned about blogging, I’ve learned from her. Christian Bloggers Bootcamp, Pinterest in 21 and Building Your List like a Boss are just a few of the amazing resources she provides for bloggers. But that is just a small portion of what she does. She also has some awesome content for non-bloggers. I have personally done her Abide Course, which was well written and absolutely free! If you want to be equipped as a blogger and grow as a Christian, you can visit her at Arabah Joy Blog.
Where do I start with this precious woman? This is Lyli. She is kind hearted, full of Jesus, a servant leader and an editor extraordinaire. If I ever need someone to review a post for errors, she’s my girl! We met in a Compel Fb group shortly after I began blogging. Her gift for extracting nuggets of wisdom from God’s Word immediately drew me into her blog. Her posts deliver solid biblical principles and relatable life experiences. She’s so relaxed and down to earth that I always feel like I’m sitting across from her having a heart to heart when I read her posts. In addition to her posts, Lyli writes devotionals for her local church. If you are looking to dive deeper in the Word, you can visit her blog at 3-D Lessons for Life. Lyli also has a great blog linkup called Thought-Provoking Thursday.
I hope you have enjoyed meeting a few of my online friends! I’d love for you to stop by their websites and introduce yourself. I know they would love to meet you!
See you on Thursday for our next #giveaway!!
